I've spent hours, maybe even days searching how I can make money online as a newbie without much success at the beginning.

I had done the same and was coming to the conclusion that I would need to get into computer programming or other IT programs to earn a living online.

You will achieve success by coosing just one Niche market to start and giving it 100%. The leading causes to failure in Affiliate marketing is that people get sidetracked half way into a project or decide to throw in the towel after a few unsuccessful attempts.
The necessity to have multiple campaigns at the same time seems to be a common misconception of Affiliate marketing. This causes people to spread themselves too thin which wears them out before seeing a profit. The competition in Internet marketing can be fierce and it's always better to focus on one type of market than to be an expert in every niche market.
If you want to join a proven and successful Affiliate website for marketing ideas, they are out there and you just need to dig a little. Find one that requires a membership as many of the free ones are magnets for scammers and spammers who prey on people looking to make a living online. I must have joined 20 free sites before realizing that the ones you pay member fees for, ultimately have the best value.
If you do fall victim to a scam, take the experience and learn from it. It's the people that continue to apply themselves that ultimately succeed.
