Would it not be better to just work for a couple of years to build a lifetime of passive profits, and then pass it down to the grandchildren? Well, the MLM (Multi Level Marketing) industry has been based on this which sounds promising, but does it deliver?

In the past, it has worked. Unfortunately, this concept wouldn't be any useful today.

So, how can I say this so bluntly? Well, about every eight to 11 months, an immense number of individuals get switched from one company to the next. At one point, everyone referred to these people as junkies of the MLM business. However, their uplines are now in the same situation.

Not so greatly, the network marketing industry has become anxious with timing, soft launches, and the next big thing. But what is causing this anxiety?

It's just the game of numbers. The count of newcomers getting into network marketing compared to the count of new companies that are opening up, does not have a decent ratio. Any time that you want, you can start your own company. The issue is that you will be limited to the number of people that are going to join your business.

This now brings in the idea of the 'Pre Launch'. A company will use this as their chance to get networkers to promote this new company. It usually gives the networkers an advantage to help get the company off its feet while there are not many people involved, which lets them make more money.

Now, as the networker has started promoting this new company, another company will start up and offer its pre launch, only promising the next big thing. Right there, this cycle begins.

As this cycle proceeds, more companies will pre launch every six to 11 months. The networkers in the other programs race to get to the top, and the companies they abandon don't succeed. It's easy to see how this puts companies into major competition.

Bear in mind that in the MLM industry, marketers are the main portion of the business, making you very valuable to any MLM company.
